Introducing Apera’s all-new DO8500 Optical Dissolved Oxygen Meter. Equipped with state-of-the-art optical DO probe, the DO8500 meter generates quick and accurate dissolved oxygen readings in a hassle-free manner. No membrane or solution needed for the optical probe. Unlike the traditional polarographic or galvanic probes, the optical probe does not consume oxygen at all, hence has no requirement on the water flowing speed. Quick response time: only takes 1 to 3 minutes to get stable readings. Automatic Compensation for salinity, air pressure, and temperature.

Durable luminescent cap: over 8000 hours’ service life. The special coating on the luminescent cap makes it anti-interference and unaffected by light and chemicals. A calibration cap comes with the probe, which allows it to be easily calibrated and stored in saturated air. Rugged Structure: The IP67 waterproof and Dustproof structure allows the meter to be used in harsh environments.

WARRENTY of DO8500

The warranty period of the DO8500 instrument (only the instrument) is 3 years from the date of purchase. That of DO803 optical DO probe (excluding sensor cap) is 2 years from the date of purchase. That of DO8032 sensor cap is 1 year from the date of purchase. If the above products or parts within the warranty period are not functional due to raw material defects or poor manufacturing, they are free for repair or replacement.

This limited warranty does NOT cover any issues due to:

  • Accidental damage
  • Improper use
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Transportation
  • Storage
  • Failure to follow the product instructions
  • Unauthorized maintenance, modifications, combination or use with any products, materials, processes, systems or other matter
  • Unauthorized repair
  • External causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
